Tamil Nadu: Order to keep liquor shops closed on 21st, 22nd and 23rd

Tamil Nadu: Ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, Governor M. Pratap has ordered that all liquor shops remain closed on May 21, 22, 23, and the counting days of the votes, to prevent any untoward incidents.

In Tiruvallur district, liquor retail shops and their associated liquor stores are operating as licensed liquor stores, as per the license conditions of Rule 12 and Sub-rule (2) of the Tamil Nadu Liquor (Licenses and Permits) Rules, 2003.
