Tamil Nadu: Rain likely in Nilgiris and Coimbatore for the next two days
Tamil Nadu: The Chennai Meteorological Department has reported that light rain is likely at one or two places in the Nilgiris and Coimbatore districts on Friday and Saturday (March 6 and 7).
The Chennai Meteorological Department issued a press release on Thursday regarding this:
Due to a low-level circulation extending from south interior Karnataka to Telangana, light rain is likely at one or two places in the Nilgiris and Coimbatore districts on Friday and Saturday (March 6 and 7). The rest of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal are likely to experience northerly weather. Light rain is likely at one or two places in the Nilgiris, Coimbatore districts, and coastal districts of South Tamil Nadu on Sunday (March 8).
Following this, light rain is likely at one or two places in the Western Highlands districts, coastal districts of Tamil Nadu, and the Puducherry and Karaikal regions from Monday (March 9) to Wednesday (March 11).
The sky will remain partly cloudy in Chennai and Puducherry areas on Friday. Fog: Partial light fog is expected in the Western Highlands districts on Friday and Saturday morning.
