Tamil Nadu: Snowfall likely in western foothill districts till March 5

Tamil Nadu: The Chennai Meteorological Department has stated that light fog will occur at one or two places in the western hill districts and coastal areas of Tamil Nadu from Tuesday to Thursday (March 3-5).
The Center issued a press release on Monday: An atmospheric low-level circulation persists over the Kumarikadal areas and adjacent Maldives. Furthermore, due to an atmospheric upper-level circulation over the southeast Bay of Bengal and the adjacent equatorial Indian Ocean, northerly weather is likely to prevail over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal from Tuesday (March 3) to Thursday (March 5).
Light rain is likely at one or two places in the western hill districts and coastal districts of Tamil Nadu from Friday (March 6) to March 8. Northerly weather is likely to prevail over the rest of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal.
On Tuesday, Chennai and Puducherry will experience partly cloudy skies. Light fog will occur at one or two places in the early morning. Fog: It is reported that from Tuesday to Thursday, there will be light fog in the morning at one or two places in the western highlands districts and coastal areas of Tamil Nadu.
