Tamil Nadu: Woman injured after being bitten by a stray dog; police investigating

Tamil Nadu: Police are investigating the case of a woman who was bitten by a stray dog ​​in Chennai’s Jam Bazaar.

E. Chandra (50), a resident of Thirunavukkarasu Street in Thiruvallikeni, was walking near the Housing Board residential area on Varada Pillai Street in Jam Bazaar on Thursday when he was bitten by a dog belonging to a family living in the same area. People rescued him and took him to the Royapettah Government Hospital. Police began investigating based on Chandra’s complaint filed at the Jam Bazaar police station.
