Taxi driver brutally beaten in airport, watch video

Raipur. Every day there is an uproar among the taxi drivers in Raipur airport regarding the ride. Even on Sunday night at 10 pm, there was a fierce fight between two taxi drivers over a ride. In this a driver’s face became bloody. After this, both the groups reached Mana Camp police station and created a ruckus there too. A complaint of assault and abuse was lodged in the police station. On which Swabhiman Yuva Taxi Sangh, on behalf of a group Turab Ali, has complained that Durpesh Namdev, Navtej Dhariwal, Harvinder Dhariwal, Manoj Chaudhary provide rides illegally.

It is noteworthy that disputes regarding taxis have become a daily occurrence in Raipur Airport. At the airport, taxi drivers resort to arbitrary charges for picking up passengers. While on one hand, passengers from India and abroad come to visit Raipur, taxi drivers also misbehave with them. Complaints about all these cases also reach the police, but the police withdraw their hands from such cases citing airport rules, due to which today the situation is such that taxi drivers have started fighting among themselves. On the one hand, some passengers also say that the taxi drivers talk rudely with them, after boarding the ride and even after dropping the ride at the place where they have to go, they also charge arbitrary fare from them.
