TB can be cured if medicines are used properly: Medical Officer Mallikarjuna Rao
Bachannapet, April 16: Jangaon District Medical Officer Mallikarjuna Rao said that the government is making special efforts to prevent TB. He visited Bachannapet PHC on Wednesday as part of TB Muktabharat Abhiyan Phase 2. On this occasion, he inspected several wards of the hospital. He spoke to the patients and inquired about their problems.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that if proper medicines are used to prevent TB, it will be cured soon. He suggested that the hospital should be kept clean and better services should be provided to the patients. Doctors and staff should be available 24 hours a day. He suggested that due care should be taken as the sun is beating down heavily.
District Program Officer Lagisetty Ashok Kumar, Kamal Haasan, Dr. Srinivas, Srujana, Siddhi Sudarshan Reddy, Prasanna Krishna, staff nurses, and ANM staff participated in this program.
