Teacher crushed to death by out-of-control vehicle

Sakti. A teacher died in a tragic accident in the district. He was leaving his home for work when a speeding vehicle struck his bike near the Dabhra-Kharsia main road. The teacher died on the spot. Upon receiving information about the incident, a large number of the deceased teacher’s family and villagers arrived at the scene and began protesting by placing the body on the road. Police arrived at the scene and convinced the protesters to clear the road. Dabhra police prepared an inquest report and sent the body for post-mortem examination. The case is currently under investigation.

The incident occurred on the Kharsia main road in the Dabhra police station area of ​​Sakti district. Raghunandan Chandra, a 42-year-old teacher, was on his way to work when a speeding vehicle struck his bike near Naurange Fabrication in Laxmanbhatta. The bike was completely destroyed. The teacher also suffered serious injuries to his head, arms, and legs, resulting in his death on the spot.

Upon receiving news of the accident, villagers and the deceased’s family members arrived at the scene and began protesting by placing the body on the road. They also demanded the arrest and severe punishment of the accused driver. The road remained blocked for hours due to the protests. Police arrived at the scene and, after convincing the protesters, cleared the road.
