Director Kiran Kumar has passed away; his last project, ‘KJQ King Jackie Queen’, was in post-production.

Entertainment: Director Kiran Kumar, who rose to fame after directing Nagarjuna’s film KD, passed away today. This news has come as a huge shock to everyone. Many are in disbelief over Kiran Kumar’s sudden death, as he had recently impressed everyone with his acting skills and was also on the verge of making a successful comeback in direction.
Kiran Kumar’s last directorial project was KJQ King Jackie Queen, the shooting of which had already been completed. The film is currently in the post-production stage.

Before working on KD, the director had assisted on several of Mani Ratnam’s projects. Kiran Kumar was last seen as a CBI officer in Vijay Antony’s film Bhadrakali.
