Techie Dies By Suicide After Dispute With Mother In Law Over Cooking In Bengaluru

Bengaluru: A software engineer committed suicide after an argument with her aunt over cooking. She was upset that she was not allowed to cook. Her family has complained that her in-laws were harassing their daughter for dowry. (techie dies by suicide) The incident took place in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. 35-year-old Sushma previously worked for a leading tech company in the US. She got married to Puneeth Kumar from Bengaluru five years ago. The couple has a four-year-old son.
Meanwhile, Sushma and her aunt often have fights over small matters. On Tuesday, there was an argument between the two over cooking. Her aunt did not allow Sushma to cook. In this context, Unable to bear the harassment at her aunt’s house, Sushma committed suicide by hanging herself.
On the other hand, Sushma’s family has complained that her in-laws have been harassing their daughter for dowry, including minor quarrels. In this context, the police have arrested her husband Puneeth Kumar. A police officer said that efforts are being made to trace the whereabouts of her aunt Kalpana. It was revealed that they are investigating Sushma’s suicide from all angles.
