Telangana Chief Minister: Uncertainty continues amid AICC’s talks with contenders
Hyderabad: Uncertainty continues over Telangana’s new minister with AICC leaders holding meetings with other leaders, including observers and aspirants for the post, in New Delhi.
Karnataka Deputy Minister DK Shiva Kumar met Nalgonda Deputy Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy for over an hour in New Delhi. But the meeting did not reach any conclusion.
However, Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the top command is at the top. Speaking to the media after the meeting, Uttam Kumar Reddy said, “We will be guided by whatever decision the AICC takes.”
Subsequently, AICC chief Mallikarjun Kharge invited Shiv Kumar, Rahul Gandhi and AICC general secretary KC Venugopal to his residence for another meeting. It started a few minutes ago and party sources said it would be announced in the afternoon.
When the media asked Shiv Kumar about the meeting at the AICC chief’s residence, he said: “We are here only to present information about the CLP resolution which was approved on Monday. The remaining decision will be taken by AICC.
