Telangana: SR University student commits suicide after failing in exam

Warangal: BSc Agriculture student Deepti Rathod was found hanging in her hostel room at Sri Rajeshwari (SR) University in Hanamkonda district early Friday.

The matter came to light when fellow students saw the body and informed the hostel staff. According to the initial investigation of the police, it is suspected that Deepti committed suicide by hanging herself after failing in the recent examination. Police sent the body to MGM Hospital for post-mortem.

Police have registered the case and are investigating.
