Temperatures likely to rise in Tamil Nadu today and tomorrow

Tamil Nadu: The Chennai Meteorological Department has stated that temperatures are likely to rise in Tamil Nadu on Thursday and Friday (March 5 and 6).
The Chennai Meteorological Department issued a press release on Wednesday regarding this:
A low pressure area is persisting over the Gulf of Mannar and its surrounding areas. Furthermore, due to the low pressure area over the southern Bay of Bengal and the adjoining equatorial Indian Ocean, northerly weather is expected in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal on Thursday and Friday (March 5 and 6).
Due to this, maximum temperatures are expected to gradually increase in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal on March 5 and 6. From Saturday (March 7) to Monday (March 10), isolated light rain is expected in the western highland districts and coastal districts of southern Tamil Nadu.
On Thursday, Chennai and Puducherry will experience partly cloudy skies. There will be light fog in isolated areas in the early morning. Fog: Light fog will be present at isolated locations in the Western Highlands districts and coastal areas of Tamil Nadu on Thursday morning. It is reported that light fog will be present at isolated locations in the Western Highlands districts on Friday morning.
