Overall, there is a possibility of starting traffic through this temporary approach road via Kiul river by Sunday.

It may be noted that there is a lot of dissatisfaction among the local people due to the government not constructing a bridge across the Kiul river between Kiul-Lakhisarai near Pathala Ghat. However, with its help the distance from Kiul to Lakhisarai becomes only one kilometer. The construction of this bridge across Kiul river at the government level will prove to be a boon for lakhs of people of the area.

Irfan, social worker Naval Kumar, Ravikant Yadav, Suresh Singh, Shravan Mandal, Sanjay Kumar, Anil Paswan, Shailendra Kumar Singh alias Gabbar Singh, Praveen Kumar, Ramvikas Kumar alias Mantu, Praveen Yadav, Mahesh Yadav, Arun The work of making a path in the river has been started under the supervision of Mandal, Ram Ishwar Yadav, Anil Paswan, Ranjit Yadav and others. It is noteworthy that the temporary culvert gets damaged every year during the rainy season. As soon as the construction work of temporary approach road cum culvert in Kiul river is completed, the distance between Kiul – Lakhisarai will be reduced once the road becomes operational. This will directly benefit the local population of more than one lakh. The distance from Lakhisarai to Kiul will become easier for two-wheelers and four-wheelers including pedestrians. It should be noted that in the absence of a road bridge, at present people complete the long and difficult journey from Lakhisarai to Kiul with the help of the footpath of the railway bridge and the main road Vidya Peeth bridge.
