Thai massage center raided in Narhe, Social Security Cell busted sex racket
Pune: The Social Security Cell of the Crime Branch has busted a sex racket being run at a massage center in Narhe area of Sinhagad Road, an official said on Sunday.
Four girls were rescued during the operation and a case has been registered against the massage center manager.
In this case, a complaint has been registered against massage center manager Nitin Girmal Kamble (29, Vetalbaba Chowk, Narhe) under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.
Police constable Manisha Pukale of the Social Security Department lodged the complaint at Sinhagarh Road police station.
Acting on information that a sex racket was being run at Royal 19 Thai Spa Massage Center in Narhe, the police team conducted a raid after obtaining evidence from a fake customer.
All four girls have been kept in the observation centre. Under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police Amol Zende, Senior Police Inspector Bharat Jadhav, Assistant Inspector Rajesh Malgave, Aniket Pote and the team carried out this operation.
Sex racket busted in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar police busted a clandestine sex racket running in a posh area on Beed Bypass Road on Tuesday night. This racket, which was run secretly without the knowledge of the nearby residents, was going on for several days.
Earlier, CIDCO police had busted a brothel running inside a coaching class, arresting the director and two others. During their interrogation, the police got information that another sex racket was active in a posh area near PWD Colony in Satara area. Acting on this clue, the police conducted a raid on Tuesday night and rescued a girl from Uzbekistan and two girls from other states. Six persons were arrested, including two with criminal records.
The arrested persons have been identified as Tushar Rajan Rajput (42), Praveen Balaji Kurkute (40), Gopal Laxminarayan Vaishnav (29), Lokesh Kumar Keshamato (35), Arjun Bhuvaneshwar Dange (38) and another.
