Thalapathy Vijay leaves for Thailand for the shooting of the film ‘Thalapathy 68’
Chennai: After the huge success of the film ‘Leo’, Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay has left for Thailand to shoot his next film ‘Thalapathy 68’. Bangkok is the favorite destination for South Indian cinema these days, be it ‘Virupaksha’. Or the upcoming fantasy-war-drama film ‘Kanguwa’.
The team of ‘Thalapathy 68’ announced the flight to Thailand on their official X account. Reportedly, Thalapathy may play a double role in the film, although director Venkat Prabhu has not confirmed the same.
‘Thalapathy 68’ brings together some of the leading names of South Indian cinema on the big screen. Some of the most prominent cast members who participated in the inaugural puja of the feature include Prabhu Deva, Prashanth, Snena, Meenakshi Choudhary, Laila, Mohan, Jayaram, Ajmal Ameer, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Vaibhav, Premgi, Arvind Akash and Ajay Raj.
The feature is directed and co-written by veteran director Venkat Prabhu. Its music has been given by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The cinematography is by Siddharth Nuni and editing is by Venkat Rajen.
The year 2023 is marking the beginning of many big projects one after the other for various South actors as Rajinikanth is now doing his next untitled film, while Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeepa is doing the film ‘K46’ and Telugu film ‘K46’. Star Nani is doing ‘Nani 31’ which was recently titled as ‘Saripodda Sarivaram’.
