The average rainfall in the district so far is 529.2 mm

Mahasamund. Mahasamund. During the current monsoon in Mahasamund district, an average rainfall of 529.2 mm has been recorded from 01 June 2025 till now. According to the information received from the land records, the highest average rainfall in the district was 728.3 mm in Pithora tehsil, 547.3 mm in Saraipali, 532.2 mm in Basna, 475.9 mm in Bagbahara, 468.6 mm in Mahasamund and the lowest rainfall of 423.3 mm was recorded in Komakhan tehsil. Today on 30 July, an average rainfall of 9.5 mm was recorded. In the tehsil wise rainfall of the district, 19.4 mm was recorded in Komakhan tehsil, 15.0 mm in Bagbahara, 12.4 mm in Pithora, 6.3 mm in Mahasamund, 2.6 mm in Saraipali and 1.5 mm in Basna tehsil.
