The body of the constable who went missing from the police lines has been found.

Jagdalpur. The body of Constable Damru Nayak, posted at the Jagdalpur Police Lines, was found hanging from a noose in the Asna forest on Friday. ​​The incident caused a stir in the police department. Police are investigating the case from all angles.

According to reports, Constable Damru Nayak had been missing since December 3rd. His family had reported him missing to the Kotwali police station, after which the police had been searching for him. It is believed that the constable may have committed suicide due to personal problems. The body has been sent to the Jagdalpur Medical College for post-mortem examination.
