Surguja. A horrific case of murder has come to light in the district. Where the brother-in-law has committed the crime of killing his sister-in-law. The body of the dead woman was found outside the house this morning, which caused a sensation in the area. During the investigation, the police found serious injury marks on the face and head of the dead body. The whole case is of Kunni police station of Lakhanpur police station area.
According to the information, the deceased Maan Kunwar, a resident of village Kunni Tendughat, was living separately from her husband Dev Chand Das (42). Just 6 months ago, her brother-in-law Vishnu Das eloped with the deceased Maan Kunwar. Both were living their lives happily. But alcohol disrupted this relationship. There used to be disputes between the two regarding alcohol. On the night of January 12, 200 meters away from the house, a fight started again between Vishnudas and Maan Kunwar over alcohol. After which Vishnudas brought Maan Kunwar to the house while beating him and attacked him with a stone on the head and face. Maan Kunwar, who was seriously injured on the spot, lost a lot of blood, due to which he died.
This morning at around 7:30, the deceased’s brother-in-law Siya Das reached home and saw that his sister-in-law was lying dead, soaked in blood. She had serious injury marks on her face and head. The police was informed about this. The police reached the spot and are taking further action after preparing the Panchnama. The accused brother-in-law Vishnu Das is absconding since night, the police have started searching for him.
