The condition of Ghaziabad is bad due to heavy rains since morning, the official residence of Municipal Commissioner also submerged
Ghaziabad (IANS). It has been raining heavily in Ghaziabad since Thursday morning. The rain which started at around 9 in the morning stopped after 12 o’clock and during this time waterlogging was seen in different areas.
Many areas of Ghaziabad were completely submerged in water, including Gaushala Phatak, Modinagar Police Station Loni area as well as the official residence of Municipal Commissioner of Ghaziabad was completely submerged in water.
This rain has once again exposed the preparation of Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation for rains.
Due to this rain since morning, people got relief from the scorching heat, as well as the mercury has also come down a bit, but this rain has also increased the problems of the people. Due to rain, pictures of water-logging have been seen in many areas including Loni, Kavinagar, Khoda, Indirapuram.
Most of the water is filled in the Gaushala underpass. About 20 feet of water is filled in the Gaushala underpass. Along with this, the video of Ghaziabad’s Municipal Commissioner Nitin Gaur’s official residence is also going viral on social media. The snake is seen in the video that the water has reached outside the road and also inside the house.
By looking at the submerged house of the Municipal Commissioner, it can be estimated that how good is the work of the Municipal Corporation regarding the rains.
A video has also surfaced of Modi Nagar police station in Modi Nagar, Ghaziabad. In which it is clearly seen that even inside the police station, water is filled to the brim and from the road to the police station, it is visible completely submerged in water. Actually, the work of RapidX train is going on on this road. Because of this a part of the road has been taken over by NCRTC. Due to the rains, swamp-like conditions have prevailed here.
