The criminal was about to commit a major crime in Raipur Kachna, caught with a country-made pistol

Raipur. The criminal has been caught before committing a major crime in Raipur Kachna. Actually, the police had received information from the informer that a person wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt was roaming around in Ravana Talab Kachna carrying a country-made pistol. On this information, witnesses Krishna alias Bunty Yadav and Balkaran Dhritalhare were arrested. After giving a notice under Section 160 CrPC, Ravana left for the spot to verify the incident along with fellow staff and witness. On searching the address in Talab Kachna, a person of the above mentioned appearance was surrounded and caught.

On enquiry, he revealed his name as Suresh Yadav, father Jagdish Yadav, age 27 years, S/o Tandon Dairy, resident of Assembly Police Station, Assembly District, Raipur, behind the Accountant General. He was taken into custody and after being interrogated and searched in relation to the information received from the informer, an iron was found behind his waist. Accused Suresh Yadav was found hiding a country made pistol under Section 91 CrPC in relation to illegal keeping of a country made pistol. Notice was given in writing that he does not have any valid documents/license regarding illegal possession of country made pistol. Since the act of the accused was found to have committed a crime under Section 25 Arms Act, the witnesses were duly arrested on the spot and the family was informed about the arrest.
