The DMK insisted on publishing the details of voters who were sent notices.

Tamil Nadu: The DMK has appealed to the Chief Election Officer of Tamil Nadu to release booth-wise details of the 12,43,363 voters who have been served notices and not to ask for any documents other than Aadhaar.
Out of the 5,43,76,756 voters included in the draft voter list, polling station officials are personally sending notices to the 12,43,363 who have not provided complete details. They will be required to submit one of the 13 documents notified by the Election Commission for verification.
In this regard, a letter sent by DMK Organizing Secretary R. S. Bharathi was submitted to the Chief Election Officer by the party’s Legal Secretary and MP N. R. Elango. It stated, “Voters who have been served notices for not providing correct details should not be asked for any documents other than Aadhaar.”
Voter registration officials say that the process of adding and correcting names in the list should be done based on Aadhaar. Assistant Voter Registration Officers and Polling Station Officers should be instructed to do so.
The details of voters who are being served notices should be published booth-wise across Tamil Nadu. They should receive legal assistance when they approach them in person.
Voter registration applications received from well-known parties should be securely registered.
It has been stated that a uniform process should be followed across Tamil Nadu for activities such as form corrections.
