The Election Department orders scrutiny of answer sheets that get full marks.

Tamil Nadu: When checking students’ answer sheets for the Plus 2 and Class 10 public exams, the Election Department has ordered that answer sheets that score 100 out of 100 should be carefully checked and signed.
The Plus 2 and Class 10 public exams under the Tamil Nadu School Education Curriculum were held from March 2 to April 6. Approximately 1.7 million students took the exams. The Plus 2 answer sheet correction process began on April 6. The answer sheet correction process for Class 10 will begin on Friday (April 10). Master and graduate teachers are working to correct answer sheets based on the exam department’s guidelines.
As such, the Election Department has ordered that camp officers, while checking answer sheets, should check and sign the answer sheets of students who score 100 out of 100 (percentage).
The circular sent by the Election Directorate to all District Principal Education Officers in this regard reads as follows: Standard guidelines have already been issued to all camp officers regarding the evaluation of answer sheets for the general elections. AEs have been instructed to follow them and carry out the evaluation work.
Following this, it was decided in a recent zonal meeting that the answer sheets of students scoring full marks (centre) should be carefully checked and signed during the evaluation process. Accordingly, all camp officers should download, verify, and approve the list of candidates scoring full marks in their centres, it states.
