Durg. A 12-year-old child died in a tragic accident in the district. The farmer had connected a domestic electricity line instead of solar current on the boundary wall of his field. The child got severely burnt due to the electric current and died. The accident is from Purani Bhilai police station area.

According to the information, the farmer had used domestic electricity instead of solar current on the boundary wall to protect the maize field. On Tuesday, Ganiyari resident teenager Kamesh Kumar had reached near the field and meanwhile he unknowingly came in contact with the current. There is a wave of mourning among the family members after the accident. The family has demanded strict action by registering a crime against the negligent farmer.
