The forest department saved the lives of the bears, they had fallen in the well

Pithora. Two bears fell into a well in Pilwapali village of Pithora forest range of Mahasamund district. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the Forest Department team reached the spot. After which, with the help of the villagers, the forest department team carried out a rescue operation and rescued the bears safely from the well.

According to the information, 2 male bears fell while roaming in the well of Devichand Bariha’s farm in Bhirhadipah of Pilwapali village of Pithora forest range. As soon as the villagers saw the bear falling into the well, they informed the forest department about it. After which the forest department team reached the spot and conducted a rescue operation and rescued the bears from the well. At the same time, the Forest Department has been ordered to secure the well in the fields surrounding the forest.
