The hotel Raipur Inn was found to be unsanitary, and the municipal corporation imposed a fine of 5,000 rupees.

Taking immediate action on a public complaint regarding unsanitary conditions received by the Raipur Municipal Corporation, and acting on the orders of Raipur Municipal Commissioner Vishwadeep, and under the direction of Municipal Health Officer Dr. Tripti Panigrahi and Municipal Zone 2 Zone Commissioner Dr. R.K. Dongre, a team from the Municipal Zone 2 Health Department, led by Zone Health Officer Ravi Lavania and in the presence of sanitation workers, conducted a surprise inspection of the sanitation arrangements at Hotel Raipur Inn on the railway station road within Zone 2.
During the surprise inspection, unsanitary conditions were found at the hotel, confirming the validity of the public complaint. Following instructions from the Municipal Health Officer and the Municipal Zone 2 Zone Commissioner, the management of Hotel Raipur Inn on the railway station road was issued a stern warning for the future and fined a total of ₹5000. The public complaint regarding unsanitary conditions received by the Municipal Corporation was thus promptly addressed.
