The inflow into Mettur Dam has reduced to 384 cubic feet.

Tamil Nadu: Water flow into Mettur Dam decreased from 384 cubic feet per second to 164 cubic feet per second on Friday morning.

11,000 cubic feet of water is being released from Mettur Dam for Cauvery Delta irrigation and 400 cubic feet for East-West Canal irrigation.

Since the water released for irrigation is more than the inflow into the dam, the water level at Mettur Dam has decreased from 104.04 feet to 103.30 feet. The water reserve is 69.18 TMC.
