In fact, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma had reached Ramakrishna Care Hospital in the capital Raipur to meet the soldiers injured in the Naxalite encounter in Narayanpur district.

The Chief Minister could not meet another injured STF jawan Lekh Ram Netam as he was in the operation theatre, but enquired about his health from the doctors. The Chief Minister also met Lachu Kadhati, another DRG jawan injured in the Naxalite attack in Bijapur a few days ago and enquired about his health.
