The man murdered his mother

Thrissur: A 38-year-old man has been arrested for murdering his mother at her home in Edakkalathur in this district, police said on Saturday.

Santosh, a resident of Kaiparambu in Edakkalathur, was arrested soon after the crime on Friday night, he said.

Though he was taken to a nearby hospital, he succumbed to serious injuries early today, they said.
