The NABARD team reviewed the work in Amravati and expressed satisfaction.

VIJAYAWADA: A high-level team from the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) on Thursday visited the capital city of Amaravati and expressed satisfaction over the progress of development works being executed with NABARD assistance.
NABARD deputy general manager C.R. Abuvarajan undertook an extensive tour of various project sites in Amaravati and reviewed the status of construction and infrastructure development. NABARD had earlier sanctioned Rs7,387.70 crore for Amaravati’s development, a portion of which has already been released to the State government.
Using these funds, nine major projects are currently underway in the capital region under the supervision of the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) and Amaravati Development Corporation Limited (ADCL). The projects focus on strengthening core infrastructure, including road networks and essential civic amenities.
During the inspection, the NABARD DGM examined the pace and quality of the works and interacted with officials on timelines, execution standards and utilisation of funds.
At the project sites, ADCL superintending engineer Narasimha and APCRDA accounts wing company secretary K. Rajesh Babu briefed Abuvarajan on the progress of road construction and other infrastructure works, highlighting coordinated efforts to ensure timely completion while maintaining quality standards.
