The officer cheated, the villager tried to commit suicide

Korba. Affected by the Kusmunda project, Dilharan Patel of Chandranagar consumed poison. He is undergoing treatment at the hospital in critical condition. Dilharan’s son Mukesh says that SECL had surveyed his house, which was acquired for the mine. He was assured of a job and compensation. The villager is undergoing treatment at Indira Gandhi District Hospital. The issue of providing jobs and compensation to many villagers affected by the Kusmunda project is pending due to which people have already warned of taking suicidal steps.
