The people of the constituency know the work I have done: Minister Duraimurugan

Tamil Nadu: Water Resources Minister Duraimurugan said that people know the work I have done in the Katpadi constituency.
DMK General Secretary and Water Resources Minister Duraimurugan has been declared a candidate for the 13th time in the elections, and the 11th time from the Katpadi constituency alone. After being declared a candidate, he arrived in Katpadi by train from Chennai on Monday. Minister Duraimurugan was given a grand welcome by the party officials and volunteers gathered there. Later, he took part in a procession in an open vehicle and garlanded and paid homage to the statues of Anna, Periyar, and Kamaraj.
Later, Duraimurugan addressed the people in the Katpadi Chittoor bus stand area: “My humble obeisances to the deities (people) living in the Katpadi constituency. I thank the DMK leader for giving me the opportunity to contest from this constituency again and the people of the constituency for their warm welcome. I am delighted by your enthusiasm.” He said that those who have supported him so far should vote for him this time too.
Later, Durai Murugan told reporters, “All plans, including those for the Katpadi constituency, will be published in the election manifesto. You are saying that DMK leader Vijay has criticized the election manifesto. I don’t want to comment further on that.”
This isn’t a four-way contest; no matter how close the contest is, the DMK will win. You hear opposition parties saying there has been no progress in the Katpadi constituency. He said that the people are well aware of all the work I have done.
Lok Sabha member DM Kathirananda, Deputy Mayor M Sunilkumar, and coalition party officials, including the Congress, VVIP, and DMDK, were present at the event.
