The price of gold will increase by Rs 320 in 2025
CHENNAI Chennai: On Wednesday (January 1), the price of gold in Chennai has increased by Rs 320 per sovereign and the yellow metal is selling at Rs 57,200 per sovereign. Accordingly, the price of gold has increased by Rs 40 per gram and now the price of one gram has become Rs 7,150.
There has been a slight fluctuation in the price of gold for some time.
On December 30, the price of gold was Rs 57,200 per sovereign, but on December 31 it came down to Rs 56,880 per sovereign. With the beginning of the new year, the yellow metal has again come down to Rs 57,200 per sovereign.
The price of silver remains stable and it is selling at Rs 98 per gram.
