The public will answer on BJP’s anti-reservation conspiracy in the upcoming elections.

Raipur. Senior spokesperson of the State Congress Committee, Surendra Verma has said that the people of Chhattisgarh will give a befitting reply to the BJP in the upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha elections on the anti-reservation conspiracy of the Bharatiya Janata Party. BJP does not want SC ST OBC and EWS of all communities to get their rights. In order to provide the rights of the majority population of Chhattisgarh to the backward class, scheduled tribe, scheduled caste and general category people living below the poverty line, the Bhupesh Baghel government called a special session of the assembly and passed the Chhattisgarh New Reservation Bill, in which 32 seats for the scheduled tribe are given. There is a provision of 13 percent reservation for Scheduled Castes, 27 percent for Other Backward Classes and 4 percent for EWS, but at the behest of BJP people who are unable to compete politically in Chhattisgarh, this bill has been implemented from December 2, 2022. Till date it is pending in Raj Bhavan. Bharatiya Janata Party hates social justice, the basic character of BJP and RSS is anti-reservation, anti-Chhattisgarhia.

Senior spokesperson of State Congress Committee, Surendra Verma has said that in 2011, Raman government reduced the reservation of Scheduled Caste category from 16 percent to 12 percent without discussion, without consent, without taking the affected class into confidence. Aggrieved by the reduction in reservation by 4 percent, representatives of the Scheduled Caste category went to the High Court. Raman government maliciously hatched anti-reservation conspiracies and deliberately kept thousands of pages of documents of Nankiram Committee and CS Committee hidden from the court. Important documents of both the committees were not even mentioned in the affidavit filed in the High Court, which is clearly mentioned in the court’s decision. During his 12 years in the government, Raman Singh did not make any efforts for the head count of OBC and EWS, nor were any notifications issued. BJP does not want that the OBC category, which has the largest population in Chhattisgarh, 27 percent, and the general category people living below the poverty line should also get the benefit of reservation. The new reservation bill passed by the Bhupesh government for the provision of 76 percent reservation, which provides social justice and rights to all sections, has been imprisoned in the Raj Bhavan for more than 10 and a half months at the behest of the BJP. The people of Chhattisgarh will teach a lesson to the Bharatiya Janata Party on the coming 7th and 17th.

Senior spokesperson of the State Congress Committee, Surendra Verma has said that the Modi government at the Center and the Bharatiya Janata Party pretend to be OBC friendly only for electoral gains but become silent when it comes to giving them rights. Caste census is necessary to know the reality of the social, economic and educational status of the majority population, so that better planning can be done in the interest of that majority population. Sadly, the Modi government has once again cheated the OBC class. Bhupesh government has done the work of giving their rights to other backward classes in Chhattisgarh. To determine the basis of caste of OBC category, Bhupesh Sarkar got a head count done, launched a website, collected data, conducted a door-to-door survey, appointed supervisor counting assistants, did verification from Aadhaar, in the general meetings of local bodies, Gram Panchayat and urban bodies. After the claims and objections, the list was made public and duly approved, on the basis of which, with the opinion of the Law Department, the bill for increasing the reservation for OBCs from 14 percent to 27 percent was passed unanimously in the Assembly. Bharatiya Janata Party does not want the local population to get their rights, Congress gives rights to the common people and Bharatiya Janata Party works to snatch away their rights. Now the people of Chhattisgarh will teach a lesson to the Bharatiya Janata Party in the coming elections.
