The role of animals is crucial in maintaining ecological balance: Veterinary Officer Dr. Venkataiah

Animals are equal partners in nature with humans. Animals play a key role in maintaining our ecological balance, said Medak District Veterinary Officer Dr. Venkataiah. On Monday, Animal Welfare Anniversary celebrations were organized under the auspices of the District Animal Welfare Department in Chitkul village of Chilipiched mandal. Later, a rally was held through the main streets of the village. Officials also informed the students of ZP School about key points on animal welfare and our responsibility towards them.
Later, the Medak District Veterinary Officer said that animals play a key role in maintaining our ecological balance. If dogs are our loyal friends, then cows and bulls help us a lot in agriculture. He said that wild animals protect the environment.
The suffering of speechless creatures.. Animals do not have language but have feelings. Like us, they also experience hunger, thirst, pain and fear. Unfortunately, we keep seeing man torturing animals for his own selfish purposes. He said that beating stray dogs, locking birds in cages, cutting down forests and destroying the habitats of wildlife are the mistakes we are making.
