Prisoner escapes by jumping over prison wall

Dantewada. The prisoner has escaped by jumping over the jail wall, as per the information received from the court subdivision office, it is hereby informed to the general public, that as per the letter received from the Jail Superintendent, District Jail Dantewada, letter no./225/warrant/2025 Dantewada, dated 20 April 2025, the undertrial prisoner Mahendra Diwan, father Phooldas, age 25 years, resident of Chitalanka Kalar Para Dantewada, lodged in District Jail Dantewada, has escaped by jumping over the jail wall on the evening of 3 April 2025 at around 04.20 pm. Crime number 0035/2025 has been registered in Dantewada police station for the said incident. In relation to the said incident, the magisterial inquiry is being conducted on important points by the court subdivision office.

If any person or general public has any necessary information regarding the above incident, they can present written or oral evidence by appearing before the court subdivision office till 16 June 2025. No consideration will be given to claims submitted after the due date.
