The taxi driver was hit, then the pickup ran away trampling him

Hardoi. The taxi driver was going home on a bicycle, meanwhile a speeding pickup hit him and knocked him down and then ran over his body, he died on the spot in the accident. The police took the dead body in their custody and got it post-mortem done, the accident is being investigated.

It has been told that 50-year-old Girish Chandra Tripathi, son of Shivkumar Tripathi, resident of Gorhi Majra Khajurhara of Sursa police station, was a driver by profession, he was somehow running his house by driving a taxi. Girish was going to the village on a bicycle after parking the taxi in the city on Friday evening. Meanwhile, a speeding pickup hit him near Kasrawan Kotwali city on Bilgram Road, he fell on the road due to the collision, he could not even recover and the same pickup ran over him. Taxi driver Girish Chandra Tripathi died on the spot in the accident. Apart from his wife Sarla, his family includes a son Sachin and two daughters. The police has taken the dead body into custody and got it post-mortem done. The accident is being investigated.
