Theft in guest house, minor thief caught

Raipur. The boy who carried out the theft incident has been arrested. According to the information, the applicant Tapan Kumar Behera filed a report in the police station Devendra Nagar that he lives in the Gujarat Guest House Patidar Bhawan located in Devendra Nagar. The applicant had fallen asleep on 03.06.2023 with the shutter of the guest house down and did not lock the guest house, that between 04.00 to 07.00 in the morning, an unknown thief lifted the shutter of the guest house and entered the room and kept it in the applicant’s purse. He had absconded after stealing the cash amount and mobile phone, Samsung company’s tablet and wrist watch kept on the table. On which crime number 81/23 section 457, 380 Bhadvi was registered against the unknown accused in police station Devendra Nagar. Offense was registered.

Under the direction of senior officers, a joint team of Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit and Thana Devendra Nagar Police, after making detailed inquiries with the people around the incident, including the applicant, installed CCTVs in and around the incident site. . After observing the footage, informers were also engaged in the case. On interrogating on the basis of the evidence obtained by arresting 01 child struggling with the law involved in the incident of theft while identifying the unknown accused by the members of the team, it was accepted that he committed the said incident of theft. On his point of view, action was taken against the delinquent boy by seizing 01 nos. tablet, 01 nos. mobile phone and 02 nos. hand watch Jumla worth about Rs. 50,000/- stolen from his possession.
