Theft of expensive mobile, two teenagers caught
Durg. Police have arrested two minors who broke the lock of a shop and stole an expensive mobile phone. In a joint action, Anti Crime and Cyber Unit Durg and Police Station Padnapur have recovered 17 mobiles from the accused, the value of which is estimated to be around Rs 9 lakh.
On January 20, Sunny Vaswani, resident of Ward No. 27 Patankar Colony, reached Padmanabhpur police station and lodged a complaint that on the intervening night of January 19-20, unknown accused entered the shop of SS Mobile and Accessories located at Kasaridih Chowk and kept new and old mobiles inside the shop. Initially he kept misleading the police, but later, on the intervening night of 19-20 January, he along with another associate admitted to theft at SS Mobile and Accessories shop located at Kasaridih Chowk. 17 new and old mobiles of different companies along with headphones, pen drives, mobile chargers, power bank chargers etc. were seized from the body of both the minors.
