Theft revealed in Pachpedi Naka mobile shop, interstate accused arrested
Raipur. Mohd.Saddam Khan, an interstate accused who stole mobiles worth lakhs from Maa Lakshmi Telecom, has been arrested. According to the information, Gopal Chownani lodged a report in the police station Tikrapara that he lives in Raipura near DD Nagar Bachpan Hospital and the applicant has a mobile and accessories shop in Pachpedi Naka Chowk by the name of Maa Lakshmi Telecom, which he is the director of. Is. As usual, on 05.07.2023 at around 11.00 pm, the applicant closed his mobile shop and went home to open the shop at 10.30 am on 06.07.2023. If seen inside the shop, the mobile box was lying scattered and the glass of the counter was broken. Information about which was given to the applicant by the father of the applicant, on which he went to the shop and checked, then the skylight which was closed with bricks, there was a grill outside the skylight, breaking the grill and the skylight, some unknown thief entered inside the applicant’s shop. 12 mobile phones of Apple company, 28 mobile phones of Oppo company, 31 mobile phones of Vivo company, 34 mobile phones of Samsung company and mobile phones and cash of other company were stolen from the shop. On which crime number 325/23 section 457, 380 Bhadvi was registered against the unknown accused in police station Tikrapara. Offense was registered.
On which, under the direction of senior officers, a joint team of Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit and Thana Tikrapara Police, after making detailed inquiries from the people around the incident including the applicant, inspected the spot and started locating the unknown accused. CCTV installed at the scene of the incident and its surroundings. Along with observing the footage of the cameras, along with interrogating the employees working in the shop, information was also being collected and verified regarding the employees who had left work earlier. Informers were also engaged in the case to trace the unknown accused. Based on the modus operandi, the said incident of theft seemed to be carried out by an external gang, on which the team members started working focusing on the external gang. Efforts were also being made by the team members to identify the unknown accused through technical analysis. Meanwhile, the team members got important information regarding the unknown accused involved in the incident and the presence of the accused was found to be in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh. On which the team members were sent to Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh under the direction of senior officers. The team members were tracing the accused after reaching Fatehpur, as the accused was a very cunning type who used to change his location repeatedly due to the fear of being caught. During the course of investigation, the team members found the presence of the accused in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. On which the members of the team reached Chhatarpur and camped continuously after ascertaining the accused, and finally the accused involved in the case Mohd. Saddam Khan was captured. On the basis of the evidence received, the accused Mohd. On strictly questioning Saddam Khan, he was told to carry out the said incident of theft as well as to reiki the shop before committing the theft. Accused Mohd. Saddam Khan was arrested and action was taken by seizing 65 pieces of stolen mobile phone Jumla worth about Rs.15,00,000/- and Alazarb used in the incident. Accused Mohd. Efforts are being made to recover other stolen mobile phones by taking police remand of Saddam Khan. Accused Mohd. Four cases of theft and one case of kidnapping have been registered against Saddam Khan in Mauranipur police station of Jhansi (M.P.), in which the accused has been detained in jail.
