There will be no water supply on June 28 and 29
Durg. Leakage has come to light in the main rising pipeline between Bhilai Corporation’s Intkwell to Nayapara Chowk located on the banks of Shivnath river. Bhilai Corporation has taken a two-day shutdown for its maintenance. During this, the supply of drinking water will be affected in the second shift on June 28 and in both the shifts on June 29. Maintenance work will be done during this time.
Due to this, water supply will be affected on 28 and 29 June. Commissioner Rohit Vyas has instructed all the zone commissioners to make alternative arrangements for water supply. The Water Works Department has decided that tankers will be supplied to the most affected areas. Officials told that the shutdown will be taken on June 28, but all maintenance work will be done on June 29 only. Preparations have been completed regarding this.
