Raipur. Those who stabbed two brothers in Lakhenagar have been arrested. Ritesh Advani lodged a report in the police station Purani Basti that he is a resident of Mathpuraina Tikrapara and he has a paan shop in Raipura. On the night of 20.12.2024, the applicant was going to Lakhe Nagar Chowk Jai Mata Di Hotel to get food parceled while going to his house with his father and younger brother Ajay Advani after closing the shop. During this time, he had reached near Lakhe Nagar Dhal Gaushala, when Shubham Mishra along with his other companions came and started beating his brother Ajay Advani over a dispute regarding borrowed money. On which the applicant and his father tried to intervene but Shubham Mishra and his friend caught Ajay Advani and Shubham Mishra said, “Let’s take out the knife and kill him today.” He attacked Ajay Advani with the knife he had with him and also beat him with his fists and hit the applicant on the head with a stone lying nearby and injured him. On the complaint of the applicant, a case number 558/24 under section 109, 3(5) BNS was registered against the accused in Police Station Purani Basti.
On which, under the direction of senior officers, the police team started to trace the accused by conducting detailed inquiries from the people around including the two injured brothers in connection with the incident. While conducting continuous raids in all the possible hiding places of the accused, a total of 03 people including 02 accused involved in the case and 01 child in conflict with the law were arrested. Accused Shubham Mishra alias Mishra is a habitual criminal against whom about 01 dozen crimes of attempt to murder, Arms Act, preventive action, preventive action in Police Station Golbazar and Arms Act (Pistol) are registered in Police Station Kotwali of Rajnandgaon district, in which the accused has been imprisoned. During interrogation, it was told that the three of them carried out the above incident. On which all three have been arrested and further action is being taken by confiscating the knife and stone used in the incident from their possession. Another accused involved in the case is absconding, every possible effort is being made to trace and arrest him.
