Three arrested in case of gang rape of girl
Morigaon: A woman and two men have been arrested in connection with the alleged gang rape of a mentally challenged girl in Bhuragaon in Morigaon district of Assam. According to police reports, the victim, who was kidnapped on September 7, was held captive for over two weeks at the residence of a woman named Murshida Begum and suffered multiple incidents of sexual assault. During police interrogation, the accused woman Murshida Begum revealed that two to three people were involved in the sexual assault that took place at her house. Currently, Murshida Begum, along with two male accomplices, are in police custody while authorities continue their efforts to nab other suspects linked to the case.
