Three sculptors are working to make the idol of Ram Lalla for his life
Surete: In preparation for the upcoming consecration ceremony in Ayodhya, the public of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust will select the idol of Lord Ram in child form for suction consecration on January 22.
They stand three statues high, away from public view. While one is carved from white marble from Makrana in Rajasthan, the other two are carved from stones from Karnataka.
The trust, in its meeting this month, will select the most attractive and convincing idols among the three to be installed in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple, while the other two idols will also be placed in the temple but at different places.
According to temple general secretary Champat Rai, 15 members of FIDECOMISO had decided to select the 51-inch statue of three trees in a meeting chaired by FIDECOMISO chief Mahant Nritya Gopal Das on the 7th. And 8th October.
Rai said, the patrons will also decide the place in the Ram temple where the remaining two idols of Ram Lalla will be kept.
