Three teachers suspended for pouring oil on children’s hands

Kondagaon: A case of children pouring hot oil on each other’s hands came to light in the Government Middle School located in Keravahi village of Makdi block. Due to which the children had blisters on their hands. After that, the education department has suspended the teachers including head teacher Johari Markam.

Someone had defecated in front of the toilet. It was vacation time, teachers were out. When he came and saw and asked the children, the children got scared and out of fear poured the oil from the food being prepared on each other. The officials of Child Protection Department and Education Department, who came to investigate the matter, are concluding that the children themselves poured oil on their hands.

Tilakdas Manikpuri, father of the victim child, says that some child of the school had defecated outside the toilet, it is not known which child had defecated. The teachers had forced the children to stand up and pour the oil. After which the innocent school children poured boiling oil on their own hands. Due to which about 25 children have got blisters on their hands.

Makdi’s BRC Tahir Khan told that this is a matter of middle school. The children poured hot oil on each other, causing blisters on their hands. When the teachers asked who defecated, the children got scared, after which this incident happened.
