‘Throwing in an abandoned place’, why do doctors behave like this with patients?

Mansa (Punjab): Cases that put humanity to shame often come to light in the government hospitals of Punjab. A similar case has also come to light from the government hospital in Mansa. Where two patients were admitted in abandoned condition for the last several days. It is being told that both were suffering from HIV, jaundice and TB. On Wednesday, the doctors asked the ambulance driver to dump him at some abandoned place.

The ambulance driver also did the same thing. He was not at all ashamed of doing this. The ambulance driver made both the patients sit in the car. Then left them in some deserted place. One patient died there after some time. Because during the winter season he could neither bear the cold nor his condition was good. On the other hand, the second patient wandered near the cemetery.

Someone from there informed the police. Then again he was taken to Mansa Hospital. There the misdeeds of the doctors and the ambulance driver came to light. RTI activist Manik Goyal and the people of the city have raised questions on the government hospital and demanded action.

Ambulance driver Kaka Singh, who left both the patients at an isolated place, told the police that Dr. Asu and Madam Gurvinder Kaur of the hospital asked him to leave the patients. Dr. Asu also paid Rs 400 for this. At present, the CMO of Mansa has said that an investigation committee will be formed for this incident.
