Tikrapara police caught liquor Kochiya
Raipur. Jitendre Kshatriya has been arrested with illegal liquor. Information was received that a person has illegally stored liquor near Santoshi Nagar Shraddhanand School under Tikrapara police station area and is planning to sell it. On which, under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of Tikrapara police station in-charge, the Tikrapara police team went to the said place and identified and arrested the person of the description described by the informer.
During interrogation, the person revealed his name to be Jitendre Kshatriya from Tikrapara Raipur. When the team members searched the bag kept with him, it was found to contain liquor. When the accused was asked to produce valid documents regarding the possession/sale of liquor, an attempt was being made to mislead the team members by not presenting any kind of document. On which the accused was arrested and illegally kept from his possession 31 Pauwa country liquor Jumla worth about Rs 3560/- was seized and action was taken against the accused by registering crime number 173/2024 under section 34(2) of the Excise Act in police station Tikrapara.
