Trader found hanging under mysterious circumstances in Patna

Patna (IANS) | A businessman was found hanging under mysterious circumstances in his house in Qila Maidan, Patna. A police officer gave this information on Saturday. Businessman Nikhil Jalan (41), who has shops in the upmarket Heera Palace market near Dak Bungalow Chowk, last spoke on the phone with his daughter, who is studying in Bangalore.

Chowk police station SHO Gaurishankar Gupta said, “We are recording the statements of Jalan’s family members.” The reason is yet to be ascertained. No suicide note has been recovered.

Gupta said, we have sent the body to PMCH Patna for postmortem.

Nikhil Jalan is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.
