Traffic ban in Cuttack city for 32 days, see details
Cuttack: The Cuttack unit of the Police Commissionerate has imposed a 32-day traffic ban in some areas of Cuttack city from December 10 (yesterday).
According to a public notice issued by the police, movement of vehicles has been restricted for the dismantling and reconstruction of two box drains at Baksi Bazaar and Bajrakabati.
Traffic Diversion Scheme for Bara Patthar Culvert at Bakshi Bazar:
No three/four wheeler will be allowed from Jail Road towards Bakshi Bazaar. They will take alternative route to reach their destination or can take Buxi Bazaar GPO, Kesharpur and Seminary Chak, then turn right to reach Jail Road and vice versa. Only two-wheelers are allowed to ply on the Jail Road-Bara Pathar-Baxi Bazaar route.
Operation of heavy vehicles/tractors/school buses is completely prohibited from Bara Paththar Pulia during the reconstruction period.
Traffic Diversion Plan for Bajrakbati Culvert at Bajrakbati, Cuttack:
Movement of heavy vehicles/tractors/school buses is strictly prohibited through Dolomundai-B.K Road-Ranihat during the construction period. Traffic diversion for dismantling and reconstruction of two box drains at Baksi Bazaar and Bajrakabati has been approved for a period of 32 days from 10 December 20223 to 10 January 2024.
