Tragic high-speed accident in Nanded: Two youths died after their motorcycle skidded on Rui Phata.

Maharashtra: Two young men lost their lives in a horrific road accident in Kandahar taluka, Nanded district, on Sunday morning. The deceased were identified as Maruti Chandu Gaikwad (25) and Deepak Maruti Ghantewad (24), residents of Deglur taluka. The fatal accident occurred around 8:00 a.m. on Rui Phata Road, as the two were heading towards Kandahar.
According to local officials, the accident was caused by excessive speed. The motorcycle, notably lacking a registration number plate, lost traction and skidded violently on the tarmac. Upon impact, both riders were ejected from the vehicle, suffering serious head and internal injuries.
The absence of license plates and identification documents on the deceased initially posed a challenge for the police team arriving at the scene. However, officers recovered the deceased’s mobile phones found at the scene. By tracing recent call logs, police were able to identify them and inform their grieving families in Deglur.
