Train did not run on Pathankot-Jogindernagar track for six months
Jawali. An angry protest was held at Meghrajpura railway station under the leadership of Navbharat Ekta Dal President PC Vishwakarma regarding the restoration of trains that had been closed for the last six months on the Pathankot-Jogindernagar railway line, in which many people participated.
Under the leadership of Amlela Panchayat head Des Raj Jariyal, the public demonstrated and raised slogans against the negligence of the central government and demanded the resignation of the Railway Minister.
PC Vishwakarma said that four trains were running from Noorpur Road to Baijnath, but during the rainy season, the trains were stopped due to mud slipping from under the 80 meter track between Jwalamukhi Road and Koparlahad. The surprising thing is that the Railway Ministry could not repair this mere 60 meter damaged track in 6 months.
Navbharat Ekta Dal President PC Vishwakarma demanded the Railway Board to run trains soon. Vishwakarma said that the BJP party will have to suffer the consequences of this in the 2024 elections. Fauja Singh Dhiman, Pankaj Kuma, Captain Mehar Singh, Uttam Chand, Suram Singh, Prakash Chaudhary etc. were present on this occasion.
